My 8 Favorite Instagram Accounts Right Now

As we all know, scrolling through Instagram can be an endless and often futile journey, but there are certain accounts that unfailingly catch my eye. From travel inspo to home decor, fashion, art, and beyond, these are my top eight favorite accounts to follow right now.

@lucywilliams02

London influencers reign supreme. I said what I said. Lucy’s account is a visual dream, marrying her signature, laid-back-yet-luxury style with travel and home decor that transport you to the pages of Architectural Digest. Her dedicated home account, @lucywilliamshome, is just as crave-worthy.

@monikh

You guessed it — another London influencer. Monikh’s fashion sense is effortlessly chic, mixing high-end pieces with more low-key finds in a way that feels totally natural. I’m constantly ogling her chic, neutral flat in every mirror shot, too. I don’t know if @homebarn ships to the U.S., but Monikh has left me no other choice.

@emswells

I swear this is the last UK account. Similar to Lucy and Monikh (who are friends, by the way), Emily’s style is rooted in sleek basics but leans on the more affordable (ish) side of things. But to be honest, I think I stick around for her daughter’s feminine yet boyish style that I’ll most definitely mimic for my future children.

@slowroads

This drool-worthy account started off as a mere travel and design inspo feed, but they’ve since launched an art and home goods shop that I’ve been eyeing incessantly. Going through my saves on Instagram, nearly every single one is from Slow Roads. My style to a tee.

@megan.d.miller

Megan is a designphile and thrifting expert who recently renovated her childhood saltbox home in New England. She’s incredibly resourceful and has an envious ability to find cheap home accents that scream vintage luxury. I’d say my design style is a bit more eclectic, but I love how she shares DIY projects and recent Etsy finds.

@themcgregor

I absolutely die for Michael McGregor’s work that brings traditional subject matters to life through abstract pastel drawings. Typical still lifes include tablescapes and florals, but he strays from perfection in such an imaginative, childlike way that I deeply admire and desperately wish I could replicate.

@michawissen

I’m a sucker for dreamy film shots, especially if they’re of stunning, natural landscapes in Europe. Michaela is a Swedish travel and lifestyle photographer, as well as a new mom, whose style and aesthetic are straight out of a Wes Anderson film. I’m in love with her home in Stockholm, too.

@socialclubofficiel

There’s nothing better than scrolling through Instagram and stumbling on a quote that reshapes your thinking — and maybe convinces you to put the phone away. Social Club Officiel offers soundbites from legends like Hemingway and Bukowski, paired with nostalgic images that enliven your feed. Here’s one of my favorites from the legend himself, Anthony Bourdain: “People confuse me. Food doesn’t.”
